Residence Villa Sabine is located in the centre of Merano, in a pleasantly quiet yet very convenient setting, within easy walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions and points of interest. The Merano Arcades, the railway station, the Tappeiner Promenade and the Merano Christmas Market are all approximately 13 minutes on foot. Merano Hospital can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot, while the Merano Thermal Baths are about 18 minutes away. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are all located in the immediate vicinity of the residence.

Arriving by car

From the MeBo (Merano–Bolzano expressway), take the Merano Centro exit and you will reach Residence Villa Sabine in approximately 5 minutes by car.
Merano is easily accessible by car

• via the Brenner Motorway A22, exit Bolzano South, then continue on the MeBo towards Merano;
• via the Reschen Pass, travelling through the Vinschgau Valley;
• or via the particularly scenic Jaufen Pass or Timmelsjoch Pass.

Arriving by train

Merano/Meran railway station is approximately a 13-minute walk from Residence Villa Sabine. There are regular half-hourly train connections to and from Bolzano/Bozen, with convenient links to the national and international rail network.
From Switzerland, Merano can be reached in around 5½ hours from Zurich, for example using a general season ticket.
With Frecciarossa high-speed trains, Bolzano is easily and comfortably reached from Rome, Naples and Milan. From there, Merano is just a short train journey away.
