As cosy as your accommodation may be, Merano invites you to head out and explore. Whether on a leisurely stroll through the town or during active hours in nature, the area around Merano offers countless opportunities.

Culture lovers will discover galleries, museums and concerts, as well as castles and historic buildings in the surrounding region. Those who appreciate the Italian way of life can simply wander through the narrow streets of the old town, enjoy an espresso on a piazza or browse small shops and local markets.

Nature, movement & well-being

Our favourite “sports ground” begins right outside the front door:
meadows, forests and vineyards, peaks and ridges, cycling and hiking trails, as well as golf courses – all in the open air and often bathed in South Tyrolean sunshine.

For moments of pure relaxation, the traditional spa town of Merano also offers excellent wellness facilities. Particularly popular are the Merano Thermal Baths, the Botanical Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle and the historic promenades along the Passer River.
